After you place your calibration sticker on the gage, place in a gage sleeve and shrink it on. This will keep oils, greases and other lubricants from destroying your stickers and making a mess. Gage Sleeve also insulates the gage from some temperature changes due to excessive handling of the gage. When it's time to recalibrate the gage, just use a razor to slice the gage sleeve off and place a new sticker and sleeve on.
